We have been in business since 1978 when we purchased Schilling’s Ceramic World and changing our business name to Tomorrow's Heirlooms. Eileen and Gerri (sisters) both took classes and developed the skills to teach and finish ceramic pieces. We started taking classes in 1976 along with our mother (Nellie Livingston 1913-2004) who wanted to make her own flower pots and macramé beads. Of course it grew from there.
In October 2006, Eileen and her son Charles Livingston purchased the equipment and recipe to make Hoosier Premium Casting Slip from Indiana Ceramic Supply in Indianapolis, Indiana. We re-modeled a warehouse we purchased at Oxford, IN to house the slip operation and our molds. We acquired about 100 skids of molds from ICS which we have inventoried and put them on shelving. We are pouring greenware at Oxford and transport it to our shop in West Lafayette.
In February 2018, Eileen passed away. Charlie Livingston and Gerri Mullins are continuing the business that Eileen was instrumental in building.
